日々の紛争と封鎖により、外で安全に遊ぶことができません。停電や危険な環境により、子供たちは屋内に閉じ込められ、普通の子供時代を過ごすことが困難な状況にあります。

19%の子どもが学校を中途退学し、そのうち32%が自身の村やイスラエル入植地で働いているという結果も出ています。さらに、ジェリコ市周辺の村には保守的な考えを持ち伝統的な生活を続けるベドウィンの家庭も多く、子どもが労働力としてみなされていたり、子どもが通学することに非協力的な家庭もあります。

Skatepalは、寄付や助成金に大きく依存することなく活動を支援できるよう独自のアパレルを制作しています。
売り上げを立てることによって年間の予算を効率的に管理し、
直面するさまざまな課題に対処するための対応を効果的かつ持続可能にしています。
商品の売上は、製品製造に関わる全ての方の給与やパレスチナのオフィススペース、
プロジェクトの運営費など、団体の運営費に充てられています。
日本では、売り上げに従業員の給与を負荷することなく、
純粋な商品代金と輸出入に関わる費用のみをお支払いいただいています。

SkatePal has built up a clothing brand so that it can support all its work without having to rely heavily on donations and grants.
This is the most effective and sustainable way for the charity to be able to budget efficiently for the year, and have unrestricted funds to meet the various challenges that it faces.
The funds raised from merchandise sales go towards the running costs of the charity, which include local salaries, office space in Palestine for our team, and the cost of running projects.
